Our Guesthouse
Our charming guesthouse, set in a stone master house built on the ruins of a castle in 1720, is located in Vers in the Causses regional park. Nestled in a serene environment, away from the hustle and bustle, the main tourist sites of the Region, Cahors, Saint-Cirq Lapopie, the Pech Merle caves and Padirac, the sanctuary village of Rocamadour, the Zadkine museum, and the Castles of Cénevières, Castelnau-Bretenoux, and Saint-Laurent-les-Tours are located within a thirty-kilometer radius.
Our 1.4-hectare park houses centuries-old trees, sculptures by our predecessor, a 16-meter heated saltwater pool, and a gym. Hammocks and sun loungers invite relaxation while the Parc naturel régional des Causses du Quercy offers trails suitable for beautiful hiking excursions.
Our 3 spacious rooms located on the first floor beautifully blend the charm of the past with the comfort of the present. Renovated in the style of the house, the exposed beams, stone walls, and carefully selected period decoration transport you to a bygone era, where each element tells a story of timeless elegance. Each room has a private vestibule separating it from the common areas, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, and separate toilets.
For relaxation, a library is available in the vaulted room of the house.
The host’s table is served in the old dining room with exposed beams and stones, and equipped with a traditional fireplace and a period kitchenette, or on one of our terraces when the weather allows.
During the renovation of the house, ecological choices were made, such as the installation of solar panels for hot water, wood pellet heating, rainwater harvesting, an autonomous phytoremediation sanitation system, and recycling of our waste.
Finally, you will be able to park your car for free and with peace of mind in our secure, private parking lot, which is equipped with electric vehicle charging stations.
Here, you will find the calm and serenity of a park and a guest house far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and all noise. A true haven of peace where it is good to recharge and find rest for both body and spirit.
