Commitment to Ecology at the Heart of Our Establishment

At Hauts de Sauliès, we are proud of our dedication to sustainability and ecology. Our values are at the core of every action we undertake to offer our guests an eco-responsible and enriching experience.

Integrated Ecological Practices

We implement a series of eco-friendly practices to minimize our impact on the environment:

• Water Management : We are actively reducing our water consumption and utilize rainwater harvesting systems for our non-potable needs.
• Waste Management : Selective sorting and composting are integral parts of our practices to reduce and recycle our waste.
• Phytoremediation : Our predecessors chose phytoremediation for wastewater treatment.
• Renewable Energies : Our installations of photovoltaic and solar panels produce clean and renewable energy for a portion of our energy needs. We plan to nearly double the installation by May 2024 and implement a battery system to store some of our production to meet our deferred needs (night). For additional consumptions, we have signed up for a contract with a supplier that distributes 100% green electricity.
• Electric Vehicle Charging Stations : We have recently signed a contract with a local partner to set up 2 charging stations by May 2024 for the use of our residents.
• Support to Local Agriculture : We prioritize local products, promoting short supply chains to supply our guest table with fresh and quality ingredients. We have chosen to source directly from specialized farms nearby to offer high-quality products while keeping prices affordable.
• Awareness and Education : We share with our guests tips on how to reduce their environmental impact during their stay, thus promoting active awareness.
